I’ve got lots of freckles and stamps in my passport.
The thing I love most about being alive is having the opportunity to learn about the world we live in and how the people here meaning out of it. This fascination with meaning-making and storytelling has been around ever since I was a kid, and eventually resulted in a nutty amount of schooling and wayward adventures.
I hold a BA in Psychology, an MSc in Conflict Analysis and Resolution and I’m currently pursuing an MA in Clinical Psychology. I’ve been practicing yoga and meditation (specifically Zen) ever since I was 15 years old. I don’t consider myself an expert in any of these subjects, but I have studied a lot and (more importantly) I’ve had many trials and errors integrating what I’ve learned into my life. I hope that this website will give you a little inspiration to look hard at your own path, understand the universality of the Human Condition, and help us all feel a little less alone.
When I’m not working or in school, you can usually find me playing with someone else’s dog, sitting in a coffee shop listening to a stranger tell me about their day, riding my bike around Los Angeles, or curled up with a book in a sunny spot in the park. Oh, and sometimes I climb rocks and teach people how to stand on their heads.
The world is messy and beautiful and filled with contradictions. Sometimes it’s crappy and sometimes it’s hilarious. But mostly, it’s both. This is simply how I’ve been navigating through.
